I enjoyed this book. I didn’t like it as much as the previous 2 but that has more to do about the premise of the story then anything. It is however another great story by this author and I’m excited to dive into any other books she’s written.

Just like the previous book, I only really cared about the couple. I felt like the fight with the other tribe dragged! I skimmed through those scenes just to get back to the romance. And the romance itself was sweet and had scenes that me giddy.
I'm only going to rate this two stars based on the fact that besides the couple, everything else bored me.

We’re not going to discuss the titles or covers.
Now that I’ve read the third book in this series, I’m a little hooked. Each story has been unique, in plot and world building. Our FMCs seem to be very similar across books, but you’d have to be an independent, resilient, open minded person to agree to a marriage of convenience with a sentient being of another species. Not my favorite trope, but it is essential to the plot and moves it along. The insta-lust in some cases too, a trope which I loath, moves the plot along. It’s got some spice.
I’d love to see more diversity physically and personality wise for out FMCs, but I’ll have to keep reading to find out for myself if that is the case.

Why are these sooooooo good?
I'm fully sucked into this series, and I'm not stopping until I'm done.

Didn’t love this one as much as the first two but stills delightful if you love a marriage of convenience with very interesting Aliens 🙈
