Absolutely loved this book. I started it four years ago and I don’t know why I stopped reading it but I recently picked it up again and I absolutely loved it. I listened to part of it on audiobook and the guy was so good at doing all different voices which made the story 10x better. I loved how it’s from different characters perspective and it’s like their diary so you (the reader) know what’s going on but they don’t know what’s going on yet so it’s like fun watching them figure out what’s going on. Since the book is so old, there was like a lot of sexism, but honestly, it was kind of funny how their sexism made them like respect woman a different way. Like they kept thinking all the women were too fragile to deal with the information and stuff but then they all risked their lives for the same women. Idk it was definitely curious. I really enjoyed the book

Easier read than I expected; plenty of things happen all the time so it's easy to keep focus, and the language is relatively easy (maybe a bit easier than I would have liked). I've only struggled with the passages made to render accents but those are not many.
I think I found the ending a bit underwhelming; could have stretched it out a bit (both the murder itself and the "future").
Overall, great read
