A lot of world building and character building in the first 100 pages. Starts off slow, but the last 100 pages really hook you and make you want that second book ASAP. Also a SUPER SLOW BURN ROMANCE.

Now this was an adventure! I felt every single emotion these characters went through. This had a little bit of everything that a reader is looking for in a book.

This book was a really slow start, but by part 2 I couldn't put it down.

I was forcibly dragging myself to read this book a few minutes at a time. Characters felt 2D and entirely unlikeable. It made me cringe a lot. It’s not worth the effort I’m putting into it.
