the cover is beautiful and the premise was super interesting so i had high expectations but sadly, the book didn’t really deliver. world building and plot is ok. characters are annoying majority of the time and i didn’t feel any attachment or even wanting to root for them. could’ve been shorter too. the writing itself is fine but it’s just not for me. too over the top and cheesy i guess? i see what the author is trying to do with the story but the execution could’ve been better because there wasn’t any sort of satisfaction by the end. also even the epilogue wasn’t intriguing enough to make me wanna continue on with the story. aaa sad cause i had such high expectations and i wanted to like this so much.
