I'm so sad that this one just couldn't keep my attention... I loved the first one, but I could not make it through his book.

Enjoyable. I find love triangles annoying, and it is no less annoying in this one. I also think Lia is picking the wrong man but we move. This is not the typical drab second book in a trilogy, however I feel like the character development we do get is slightly regressive.

I am really intrigued by Lia’s journey. Where is this prophecy and foreseeing going to end up, I am hooked. I’m finding the intricacies of the politics and the world building very engaging. I’m also not a Rafe fan. Truly rooting for Kaden here

There’s so much going on, but I love it! Lia continues to be a bad ass just like in the first book and it looks like she’s gonna get even better on the third one. I like how the author balanced Lia’s character with her being emotional and also bold and strong without having to resort to the ‘pick me’ type of trope.

I’m so glad I have the last book of the trilogy because you think you know how the story is going to play out, but then you get a new piece of information and you have to take a step back and go back to the drawing board 🧐

I need to see how Lia’s going to resolve the issues between the three kingdoms and her family and the dragon and her love. Girl has a tough out there.
