The first half of the book, while fine, was a little slow. End of the book starts picking up and the last 2 chapters have me grabbing the next book immediately. Unsure of who to like in the love triangle. Maybe you tell me.

Mary Pearson can write a second book. The second of the remnant series was just as exciting as the first. It did end on a bit of a cliff hanger, which makes me anxious to start the third.

Violence: 3/5 war and death, not detailed though
Spice: 1/5 (passionate kissing, ogling comments by characters) not explicit at all
Language: 1/5 a few curses (b*tch, a*s, h*ll) here and there, no F-words

I kinda don’t know what to think on this one. It moved pretty quickly, but it also didn’t feel like a lot happened.
