The second last chapter is so beautiful. A great story about teenage rebellion. I wish it focused more on the relationship between holden and phoebe because that was honestly the best part.

I found it such a fun book to read. It’s interesting to see inside a struggling, teenage boys mind, and hear about his day to day life through his narrative. It feels like he is actually talking to you like a friend, being honest and open. Although he doesn’t like a lot of things, I believe this is due to the trauma he has experienced throughout his life at such a young age. Some people believe he is mentally ill or just annoying, but I think it is a good insight to the mind of a traumatised teenage boy who is misunderstood by society.
