This book was an eye opener. It shows you how much the Indian Act although established in the 1800s still holds a grip on the Indigenous people of Canada today

Every Canadian should read this book! Wow, I wish I had read it sooner. I learned SO MUCH about a topic I thought I was already pretty educated on. I appreciated how the author layed out and sectioned the information, which made it easy to follow. Please give this book a read!
