Couldn’t finish - the underage drinking references are RIFE. 8am drinking, drinking from a bag, drinking at a school sanctioned shut in, just every single interaction with the teens is drinking, drinking, drinking.
77 pages in an there is no hook. I quit.
I do love Emily Henry’s writing usually but this was early on in her careen and technically a “teen” book - it felt very much like trying to hard.
