3.75

Here continues the most depressing Warriors Arc I've read. That being said, it finally let up on the deaths of young mother she cats. A lot of those who are injured or die remain female. It's a bit better though, so I bumped up to 3.75 instead of 3.5.

I hadn't realized we'd see a daddy issues cat who enters an age gap relationship, but here we are. Also the mobster cat plot is a twist I didn't fully see coming, but it fits given how things have developed in previous books.

The clans are truly beginning to form, which is the reason I'm here for the books. There are more characters I've grown fond of (who haven't died right away), and I am interested to see everyone's fate in the final book of this arc. There were some very healing moments in this book that nearly brought its rating to a 4 star. I just have some "eh" moments (personally) that have me holding off from that.

This series has made me wish we got more books from cats of other clans during the main books for the first four series. Especially the first series.
