first of all, i cant believe i managed to read this in a little over a week. last time it took me at least three months lmao.
secondly, umbridge can go die in a ditch
my favourite parts were conversations between umbridge and mcgonagall. mcgonagall is seriously the best teacher at hogwarts and lowkey my role model.
harry angst count: approximately 50 times (had a really fun time counting)

least favorite in the series, really long and kinda boring. got through it though and it was worth it
5 out of 5 stars
Once again, the Harry Potter series delivers a fantastic entry to the collection. Even after reading this book twice, the story never gets old and I love revisiting the immensely well-developed characters and world.
Unlike the previous entry, I believe this one handles some things quite a bit better. While the ending exposition dump of the previous book got a little tedious, here it feels like it is the perfect length, and it is nice not to have to piece together as complex of a story as what "The Goblet of Fire" presented. However, I still never really liked how some things were left unaddressed (), but no book is perfect, and I can easily give this novel a pass in that area.
I could go into so many things about this book (since it is over 800 pages), but I think other reviews will summarize things much better. Simply put, you should read this book. It is well written and a worthwhile continuation of the Harry Potter series.
