I ended up really liking this book, it didn't take long to get sucked in! I also liked how it was told and how the timeline jumped around alot, not just going in a straight line the whole time!

"One thing, when you learn what she deals with, you might love the blind girl, who knows that it's never been her sight that she needs. that it's trust love and faith."
Shook help me. I'm sad and confused. And I don't know what this means. Please. Theist chapter starts with "also" and I'm shook. What is this? Help me. Ugh.

This was not at all what I was expecting when I picked it up, but I enjoyed it immensely.
For reasons which are a tiny bit spoiler-ey, all the descriptions are written in a very unusual way which makes it a little disorientating, but very interesting to read.
Also, there is a character who is basically Artemis Fowl, so what's not to love there?

I've been trying for a big moment here to decide if I enjoyed the book or not.
It was bizarre, weird and complez at some points, yes.
But I found myself really interested nonetheless.
Perhaps the author himself was mad like Laureth's father about this topic. And this was his own perspective of things. But as we saw, a topic like this can drive someone insane.
I felt overwhelmed but I kept reading, so I take it as a good sign since I almost never don't get overwhelmed with a book.
What I can say surely is this : the story is not ordinary.

Its great and very unique

So...this is a story about a girl named Laureth that was looking for her dad. So she travelled with her little brother, Ben, from London to New York to find him. A normal story, a normal plot. It changes something if I tell you that Laureth is blind, right?

I must admit that the fact that Laureth was blind, makes the book just...beautiful. Imagine seeing everything through the eyes from someone who is blind.

Also, the mystery, the quotes, the characters...everything was so good.
I never got bored while I was reading this, it was really interesting.

Not one of my faves...but it was a pretty cool book :33
