I have to say I have not enjoyed a book quite so much for a long time. Yes, to some extent it is formulaic but the technical detail, combined with the humour made this a real page turner. I am sure many others have written more erodite reviews so I will leave it to them to expand on the merits of this. Just pure entertainment!

It isn't often that I find a book that takes math and science and makes me interested in it. I was engaged the whole time and enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It was great!

Very good. Took me awhile cause it was very scientific. But the last like 50 pages were very action packed that it had me hooked

Loved it.  Even if you are not into Sci Fi, this is a good book

I love this book so much! it's so different from other survival books. The plot is math based and its anything but boring. He has also written another book called artemis.

I thought it was pretty good. From blog to self published to picked up by a publishing company to movie rights. What a journey for a story and an author.
There is a lot of math and ramblings. Part interesting, part boring, part funny, all geek. Some may not appreciate the type of humor thrown in, if you find you don't this may just be boring for you with all the equations and figuring how to get enough this or that to survive.

I recommend this to those who like the classic sci-fi. The type that started as magazine installments and made it to being compiled into a book.
