Enjoyable read but not as good as other ones in the series. didn't dissuade me from picking up the others but didn't quite satisfy that itch the way the others had

There wasn't anything WRONG with this mystery, but I never felt very invested in the story. It definitely isn't one of PD James's better mysteries. Something about the way the story was told felt sort of disjointed, and it made it difficult to immerse myself in the story.
