Honestly, I could predict every twist and turn, but I really enjoyed this book. The very strong characters and the compelling writing save it from being suffering under the weight of its predictability. Also, it features a protagonist whose pansexuality is on page! I'll definitely read more by this author.

I liked this book but didn't love it. I think the strength of this book was in Sammy's relationships with her estranged grandmother, best friend, and her best friends parents. Her relationship with Max was good, but I would've been fine if they didn't ultimately end up together.
