I have loved Cursed Princess Club since I found it on webtoons. My absolute favorite graphic novel to come from that app (but there are MANY bangers, truly a treasure trove of graphic novels). A story of self acceptance, sweet baby Gwen has a long way to go before she’s healed that inner child. I’m here for it every step of the way.

I don’t typically look out for graphic novels because the sheer amount of the ones available overwhelm me and with my limited experience with them, I fear I’d end up choosing the ones that do not excite me. Thank god I have a trusted supplier (aka le sis) who also knows what I look for in my stories to bring this series to my attention.
Princesses are not really part of my typical reads but I enjoyed this one a lot, I ended up devouring this in one sitting. Unlike other stories that would quickly fall into familiar tropes or cliches, this book keeps me guessing with the unexpected route. This graphic novel is also hilarious! I enjoy the kind of jokes featured with the witty banter and unexpected reactions by the characters!
So here we have three princesses in Pastel Kingdom, whose father, the king, dotes on all three daughters to the point he becomes one of those helicopter parents. I couldn’t help drawing parallels on how protective he is to my parents’ style of parenting too! I love how attached they are to one another. Although the three are blessed with different skillsets, the youngest, who is also the king’s favorite, is not what would be typically described as ‘pretty’, unlike the older two sisters. What I love is how she is raised and treated the same as her sisters and they have the kind of supportive and loving sisterly bond that I appreciate. The drama begins when the princesses are expected to marry the princes from the Plaid Kingdom.
Would definitely check out the rest of the series!

This was so cute and cozy. I loved the characters and the story. The art work was stunning and added so much more to the story. I'm so glad I read this.
