I'm counting this book because I read it aloud at least 3 times on demand, even though I don't report all the kids' books we check out and read (repeatedly). I'm writing a review mainly to complain about the gender imbalance in almost all kids' books. Do the super pets and super pet villains all have to be male? Also, there is nothing sinister about Joker's plot to get kids to pay for games, rides, and candy-- isn't that the point of an amusement park/candy store? Not sure why they had to rob Granny Whatsherface to hijack her gig. They could make total bank on setting up their own.
