This book is beautiful. it's the kind of book that you can start from anywhere, as it has a loose structure. I read the middle and then the beginning and then the end, and it helped me understand the grief I was experiencing and the way that grief can really never be fully understood.

A harrowing read into the grieving mind. Seeing such a dedicated Christian really question his faith so sincerely and deeply is a fascinating experience. Lewis writes very poetically and articulates his fears of Christianity's potential falseness exceedingly well.
