Nothing spectacular and ended quite abruptly, but if you're missing the Outlander characters then you'll probably enjoy this little snippet from Jamie's life pre Claire.
I listened to this book as a quick break from a much meatier audiobook, not expecting much of it. I was pleasantly surprised! With charming characters and a a fanciful plot with just the right level of complexity for the length of the story, it was an entertaining quick read/listen.

Good, but I was disappointed to find that half the book was just the beginning of Outlander. I already have a copy of Outlander and I'm not a fan of paying twice for the same thing.
