I ❤️ Jamie Fraser.

Not entirely what I was expecting, but not a bad read.

A nice quick look back at Jamie and Ian (before Claire).

I love this series :)

Short, enjoyable, meandering more than having a strong plot. Almost an anecdote

Story basically gives evidence of the friendship between Ian and Jamie. Enjoyable read. (Review format wants seven more words- I don't have any more to say.)

Finally, I started OUTLANDER books, cheated with listening to only 3 hours story instead of 33 hours of book 1!

A short tale of two best friends Jamie Fraser and Ian Murray before Outlander. They work as protectors and deliver goods and people.

"If you are going to hell I might as well go too. God knows you will never manage alone."

The basic story of Virgins was kind of fun and it was interesting to fill in blanks of Jamie and Ian's history but I don't know, it felt a bit unfinished. I think I prefer the Outlander short story collections.

The Cross Stitch extract helped. I don't know if it's just not that long since watching series 3 of Outlander but I was very much picturing the actors and scenes in the TV series.

Not my favorite of her works, but it was still an entertaining read.  I think I would have liked it to be a bit longer.  It felt rushed.
