This was a very interesting book, the presence just wanted people to know what happened. A family moved to a new house during the beginning of the pandemic, shortly afterwards weird things started to happen. What they do not realize is that all of them were clues the presence wanted them to figure out. It definitely has emotional moments that families can go through, especially if you love pets. They are heart wrenching to read, but worth it to understand how everything pieces together. The characters are well written and you can easily relate to them. It is definitely worth reading to see how it ends, I highly recommend it.

The scariest thing in this ridiculous book is how afraid these people all were of covid.

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed and look forward to reading more from her in the future. This is a well written story about a family who moves to the town of Stillwater. Their home is more like a castle than a home. This is where the problems come in. The place is haunted and its about to come to life. What will happen to this family and will they get away before it is too late? I enjoyed how the characters are relateable and what they brought to the story. They made the story fun, entertaining and easy to read. This is an engaging story that I had a hard time putting down. It is fast paced and I really enjoyed it. The author's use of details gave the story a realistic feel, especially the spirits. This is a great haunting story that I highly recommend.

The Weizak's (Mom, Dad and twins, Hazel & Holden) move to Stillwater, Ok at the beginning of the pandemic, into a mansion. At first look the house looks beyond creepy and haunted. Soon odd things begin happening. I just have to say that I love this cover. The characters are likeable, I really liked Hazel. This is a fun and spooky read. I love ghost stories, since nothing really scares me anymore it's just all fun for me. I know this is Lisa Courtaway first book, I will be watching out for new books by this author and hope there are more like this book. I think the people who like ghost stories will love this book. I recommend this book.
