My confusion at the multiple retellings gave way to admiration during the last section. Innovative story structure!

I happened to finish this book right after watching the 1957 Sidney Lumet film, 12 Angry Men on a 9-hour flight. Both stories had a lot to impart about storytelling, bias, power/influence, pressure, and subterfuge.

Great philosophical read. Loved the ending, which showed how wealth can be created through the universal laws of mathematics that govern music, and the economy. How people act as agents, translating these mathematical “notes” into something beautiful, like music, or sinister, like greed.
