I really really enjoyed Bryan and Kat's story. It's the perfect story of how you can make up to someone after you made such a stupid mistake. It's sexy, it's hot, it's cute and it'll make you gusha and smile <3

Full Review on Brianna's Bookish Confessions.

I started to enjoy the book, but towards the 1/3 mark, my rating started to drop. I don’t want to spoil it too much, but there was a certain thing that started to happen between the two and it was a little weird for me.

Five years ago Kat fell in love with her brother’s best friend- Bryan. They were both crazy for each other. Well, at least that’s what she thought. He broke her heart and didn’t want anything to do with her. Now broken-hearted, five years later, she still hasn’t gotten over him. She thought she would never see him again until she goes back to college to get a higher degree as a jewelry designer. Turns out, the professor partnered them together and now she’s forced to work with him.

Is Kat really over Bryan? He’s just as funny and charming as he was five years ago, and even more handsome. But, there’s a catch- no “hanky panky” business according to the professor.

I really did enjoy the book overall, but it wasn’t anything that made it my favorite book. I did really enjoy the story overall, but it just wasn’t my favorite. I wanted something light and fluffy and a new adult book. I’m glad I picked it up when I did because I don’t know if I would have gotten to it any sooner. There was a lot of sexual tension between Kat and Bryan and it was interesting to say the least.

I really liked Kat and Bryan’s relationship at times. Especially when Kat would have flashbacks to five years in the past when they had first started dating. They seemed like a really cute couple then and now.

I still can’t get over the fact that the models on the cover remind me of Katy and Daemon from the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout.. Every time I see those models, I automatically see those two. I’m sure those that are following me on Instagram or that I’m following, have seen me comment or post about this. :)

Anyway, with how short this book was, I was surprised at how much I did enjoy it.

This series never failed to sweep me off my feet. I think Lauren Blakely has real magic when it comes to words because the lines were amazing.. I highlighted a lot.

Full review to come..

I LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down, in fact, I finished it within 3 and a half hours. I am a sucker for romance, especially second chance romances. This book was everything I wanted and more.

If you also love romance you need to read it!

Spoiler
Predictable, Forgettable, a bit creepy: I felt like the main female character was too young when they met and fell in love (17 and 22 is sorta riding that 'yikes' line...), and then throughout this book she is constantly telling herself that she's going to resist the main male character, that he broke her heart last time, so she needs to stay firm and ignore that she still thinks he is hot! Then he calls and she answers and he IMMEDIATELY initiates phone sex that she willingly goes along with?! I wanted them to have a candid adult conversation and that doesn't really ever happen. Or if it does I've already forgotten it because I remember almost nothing of this book despite only finishing it days ago...
