I appreciated that all of the characters had depth, the pacing was well done, and it wasn't obvious who the killer was. Because I'm me, I could've gone for some more romance-- I needed more Stekker to decide how I really felt about him.
There was one thing that didn't irk me much at the time, but I did notice it when I read back through my highlights. It bothered me how Francesca was described after her death. Understandably, she turned to meaningless sex in the years after her husband and children were all killed. But it's like that was her only attribute after death, that she had been a promiscuous woman. It just felt unneccessary to keep referencing how much she got around, especially considering the disapproving undertones.
Overall, though, I did enjoy this book and I would recommend.
