Interesting, moderately helpful. Not a lot of science/evidence to back uk claims, and also some very specifics, and potentially irrelevant examples for many readers.
Had some good recommendations at the end, but definitely not a book for someone deep in the throes of overthinking

kinda biased on this book, there are for sure people that will love this book but I wasn’t for me
so incredibly repetitive, blaming rather than acknowledging the fact that there are people who may look into this book for help.

Not only was this book not helpful, but it was also poorly written and misogynistic. The first ~80 pages of the book described overthinking which could have been summarized into a paragraph. The sections focusing on how to stop overthinking didn’t seem to acknowledge the complex backgrounds readers could come from. Overall, the “recommendations” felt very one dimensional (I.e., “stop comparing yourself to others”, “stop waiting to be rescued”)
I kinda hate read this. SO stereotypical. The author talks about women in a disgusting and demeaning way. Her ‘strategies’ were not helpful at all..
