I like how this manhwa is more focused on the revenge plot and how scheming the Aria is.
The romance is definitely a subplot in this series but I appreciate how it is expounded later on rather than early in the series since we get to see more of Aria's resolve to change the past and bring ruin to the count's family. I enjoyed reading her plots since the family is corrupt and they don't give credit when it is due either. I hope that this will be completed soon.

This is quite good. I'd read some of the novel, which is okay, and I then saw this and read it because the art is absolutely gorgeous. It's worth reading for the art alone. And Aria's character development (especially after episode 20) is super well done. I love her. The story is fun, with good pacing and interesting characters. Definitely would recommend! 4 stars.

Lady Aria gets betrayed and beheaded by her sister but a mysterious hourglass has given her a second chance at life and she is determined to be the one doing the beheading this time.

Lady Aria isn’t a hero, nor a tragic heroine. She’s a greedy bitch who got done in by a greedier bitch. So I wasn’t initially rooting for her when she got a second chance at life. But as she lives her second life with the wisdom of her first we see her take real initiative and hone her intelligence. She becomes a strong, witty woman fighting for her independence. And while she’s pretending to be a good person she’s slowly realizing how little she thought of herself. A part of her has always believed the rumors of her ill-temper and unworthiness. But now that she’s taken the reigns of her own narrative she is finding new parts of her that can feel love and compassion.

In summation Aria is a kickass character with wits, beauty and an untapped potential she’s just beginning to see. With a romance with the mysterious Asher bubbling just below the surface of this political battleground for power, I cannot wait to see where this story goes.
