BSC re-read as a 32 year old #2...

Not my favourite instalment. I do enjoy Claudia's narration more than some of the other girls but the premise was just a bit bleh. The whole phantom caller is meant to be spooky but it just comes across as unrealistic and kind of cheesy.

This was one of the only books of the BSC I owned and trust me, I loved it to death. Almost tempted to put the whole series in my read list but I know there have been 100+ so sigh.

~Spooky~ storyline about the Phantom Caller! I did not like the messaging about Kristy and Alan (was surprised by the ending!)

This was pretty good up until a certain part of the book where a completely bullshit outdated way of thinking and excusing behavior was enforced.

otherwise...nostalgia.

Another cute Babysitter’s Club story. My daughter and I had a fun time reading it! We watched the Netflix episode afterward and it wasn’t nearly as good!
