A short read and a sad story. A mother and daughter communicate in notes left on the refrigerator door, and the story is told through these notes. Would definitely suit reluctant readers.

I really enjoyed this book and the reality of the conversations, moods and attitudes between mother and daughter.
I love the fact that Kuipers showed how busy Claire's mother was with her job and always being on call.
The reality, subtle humour and clever layout of this book made it impossible to put down.
well done Alice Kuipers this is one of those books that I wish I could write something similar to.
