I really enjoyed the tension in this book, and the story was interesting. But I was disappointed with how Tessa would so easily give in and not think much of Alec's extreme control. Also, a man she considered a friend was MURDERED by Alec, in front of her eyes, and it was her fault and she just....kinda forgets it even happened?! After her brother was murdered in front of her too and she hasn't gotten over that? It threw me off. I just wish there would've been a bit more fight and emotional struggle and resolution within Tessa. And Alec never changed...

I did enjoy this book but it felt soo fast paced for me. Even though the book was only over a month or two everything seemed to happen really quickly. I did loveee Alec though
