This is my first book by Eva Winners and it definitely won't be the last. I absolutely LOVED this book. This is a book that once you're finished, you just sit there looking off into space just processing how amazing the story was. I almost cried when it was over, I just didn't want it to end.
The author did an amazing job writing that much of an age gap without it being cringey. I loved how obsessive, possessive, and protective Alessio was, but not in a creepy way. He risked everything with her when he decided to open up an tell her everything. He wanted her to know he didn't really cheat on her and that he was protecting her when he made it seem she meant nothing to him. He wanted her choose him because of love, not because of the contract. Autumn loved Alessio despite his scars and past trauma. I think it was cool that Alessio sort of came to peace with his birth father. I feel the ending was rushed. I wish we could have gotten a wedding scene in Alessio's point-of-view. I think it would have been nice to see his thoughts of marrying his woman. I think it would also have been nice to see Alessio as a father fussing over Autumn and attending ultrasounds.
