This was a roller coaster ride!

I was basically sobbing the last 100 pages of this book bc what the heck?? I didn’t see any that happened coming!

This is my second mafia book by Eva that's set in the same world as the previous one. She definitely knows how to keep you on your toes! Between a secret arrangement, secret identities, a secret baby, and a volatile job, you won't be able to put the book down.

Also, we love a girl who can give sass to the overprotective and possessive mafia boss:
Her: "Break my heart, and I'll f–k you up."
Him: "Break my heart, and I'll be your worst nightmare."

Exhibit B, when he tells her they're getting married: "Are. You. F–king. Nuts? First of all, Alessandro, your proposal skills suck. Big-time. And secondly, I'd rather slash my own throat than marry someone like you." 🤭
