Stephenie Meyer

3.27 AVERAGE

There are many flaws in this book.
1. Bella and Edward's baby. What the heck is that name? Renesmee? Nobody names their kid a combination of the grandmother's name. I will admit, its a nice name, but nobody does that.
2. Jacob imprints on Renesmee. Three words. Why?
3. The middle. Jacob basically relives the entire day over and over and over, doing the same thing each day while Bella is pregnant. I almost died from boredom.
4. The end. Why was the battle taken out? What book series ends with the characters talking it out when all 4 400 page books are all gearing up to a big battle?

Too many flaws, too little action...

Time and time again, as I read through the chapters of Breaking Dawn I held my breath and waited for the rug to be pulled out under my feet. I was hesitant initially about the amount of pages and what they could possibly contain.
I was hesitant about reading an entire book in Jacob's perspective!
And my deepest fear laid in my doubt in Stephanie Meyer's ability to end this book - nonetheless the saga.

Each of the other books peaked in their climax for me, and I was worried this would fall flat.

To my absolute shock, I don't believe this to be the case.

Stephanie Meyer wrote an end that I found satisfying. She stuck her landing.

And 754 pages later, the rug still lays at my feet.

By no means is this saga as a whole something remarkable or even considerably well-written. But it was fun. And sometimes, we just need a fun read.

Thoughts on the Twilight series...

Its a trainwreck. A tasty, tasty trainwreck.

I've reread this multiple times. Still a tasty train wreck and I love to hate it.

Despite nearly everything- I'm now hooked on these books.

What do I think? Well let's see: except that Stephenie Meyer has given the word "pathetic" a whole new meaning...nothing.
[Sorry fans...just my humble opinion]
