I don’t know what Amy put in these books. BUT OH MY LANTA THEY ARE PERFECTION! I was desperate for Raven and Otto’s book in FHE and we got it and dang was it good 🥵 and as an active h8er of Brothers Best Friend romances, I still adored this book.
“In the darkest night, you bloomed.”
Everything I loved in Eternjty we get similarities in this book which made me so happy - Otto is such a tough boy that wants the best for his best friends sister/ his own friend, Raven. And he doesn’t think that’s him. BUT OTTO YOU’RE PERFECT. He and Raven are both still grieving past losses and find comfort in each other. Raven is pure sunshine and a girl boss I NEED as a bestie.
“You are the light inside of me, Raven. Only thing that could ever lead me out of the dark. Gonna love you through it all. Under every endless moon. And when dawn finally breaks, I will watch you rise.”
And the spice?! And the mystery?! So good! Guys, this may be a thick’em book but it reads sooooo fast! Please please read it, then pop into my DM’s and tell me that I was right cause it’s amazing 😘
💙Brother’s Best Friend
🖤Romantic Suspense
🏍️Former MC/ Current Secret Society
🖤It’s Always Been You
💙Forced Proximity (Roommates)
“I’m not breakable, Otto. And if I was, I’d want you to be the one to break me.”
Final Rating: 4.75⭐️, 3🌶️
Thank you so much @valentine_pr_ for an eARC of this book and THANK YOU @aljacksonauthor for a physical arc! This is my honest and unpaid review!

OHMYGOSH AMY!!! 😭😭😭 what have you done to me? AHHH, Otto and Raven are EVERYTHING, absolute 100% perfection!!! I can't get enough of them, and I'm not sure what it is about this series, maybe because it's a spinoff of Redemption Hills which is a fave of mine but this one is giving them a run for their money!
"ᴍᴀʏʙᴇ ɪ sʜᴏᴜʟᴅ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀᴄᴄᴇᴘᴛᴇᴅ ɪᴛ ᴀs ᴍʏ ғᴀᴛᴇ. ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɪᴛ ᴡᴀs ᴀʟʀᴇᴀᴅʏ ᴏᴠᴇʀ. ᴍᴀʏʙᴇ ɪ sʜᴏᴜʟᴅ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴋɴᴏᴡɴ ʀᴀᴠᴇɴ ᴛᴀʏᴛᴇ ᴡᴀs ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ ɢᴏɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴇɴᴅ ᴏғ ᴍᴇ."
Raven may be my favorite person. She's one badass female character, sassy and stronger because of what she's been through!! That woman is fierce, and I need her in my life!! Otto, oh, that man has been to hell and back, doesn't believe he deserves love, doesn't deserve Raven's love or light in his life because all the dark he's touched. Love has a way of proving you are worthy, and Otto will get more than he bargained for with Raven.

This book.....story.....characters.....was absolute PERFECTION! The banter was witty, the spice was definitely spicing, and the tension was explosive. I couldn't put this book down, yet I wanted to savor it because I didn't want it to end. Once again, Amy has written a story about love, loss, healing, and characters that speak to my heart!! This one is going to stick with me for a while! 🖤🩵

“I doubt the things we go through ever fully go away. They scar us and mark us forever. It’s how we handle those scars that define us.”
After reading From Here to Eternity, I was so excited for Otto and Raven’s story. I love the way this author always seems to hit you with a surprise twist or two, and this book was no exception. Raven and Otto have had years and years of a tragic shared history by the time this book starts. They are both part of one of the most loyal and protective found families I have ever read. Their attraction to each other has been written into the DNA of their characters from when you first meet them in the previous book, and it is so satisfying when they finally break, regardless of the complications it is sure to cause. The conclusion was so gratifying and also set up a little tease for the next book. Can’t wait!
“The only power we had was in the day. In the moments that were laid out in front of us. I’d never again be the fool who wasted them.”

Holy forbidden tension!! Otto and Raven bring the spice, the pining, the tension, and the banter. I love everything about them as a couple!
Otto and Raven have known each other since Raven and her brother were on the streets. Raven was just 9 at the time and the relationship was purely friendship. But from the beginning Otto is protective of Raven and that has never changed. As they grew up their relationship shifted and evolved into something much more than friendship no matter how much they try to deny it.
Otto is the perfect combo of a wise cracking golden retriever and morally grey. That smirk of his would have me giving him anything he wants lol he is possessive and protective. He will do anything to protect Raven even if that includes less than legal actions.
Raven is so so so strong! She has overcome some truly horrible experiences, and yet she finds hope and passion to move forward and thrive. I loved seeing past Raven in comparison to the baddie she is today.
This friend group’s family vibe makes my heart sing. The devotion and love is off the charts.
I can’t close this review until I speak of the suspense! Amy had me holding my breath and trying to read as fast as I can to see the outcome.
To sum up .. READ THIS BOOK!!!

Otto has been looking out for Raven since she and her brother River walked into his life, for years she was nothing more than a little sister until she is all grown up and he finds himself fighting his feelings for her. Raven has been through a lot of abuse, but she doesn’t let that dim her spirit, she is always smiling and looking at the positive side of things while she is hiding secrets of her own, one of them being the huge crush she has on her brother’s best friend. This was a great book with an amazing storyline and all the great characters.

This is the second book in the Moonlit Ridge series. Otto is part of the Sovereign Sanctum, a crew dedicated to protecting women and children from domestic violence at any cost. When the leader’s sister needs a place to stay, Otto offers up his house. The problem is Raven is the woman he can never have. She is light and beauty, while he is darkness. Soon, they can’t fight their feelings for each other, but Otto feels he can’t betray her brother. What can they do when they must choose between their family and each other?
This book drew me in and hooked me right from the start. Raven has been through so much and has come out stronger than ever. She still struggles with some things, though, because trusting is hard for her. I connected with Otto. He was such a caring person who wanted nothing more than to help the people he loved.
Otto and Raven had chemistry right from the start, and you could see how drawn they were to each other. They shared this bond that could not be broken, and Otto was fiercely protective of Raven. I loved how they confided in each other and shared vulnerable moments. Even though things were pulling them apart, they were so right for each other; it was inevitable.
As with many of A.L. Jackson’s, she writes a found family that you love and connect with in some way. This band of brothers and the people they have with them is so well crafted that you will fall in love with them.
This was a suspenseful romance with sweet love. I cannot wait for more books in this series, as the ending has a great reveal. Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% mine.
