Let me start by saying I LOVE AL Jackson’s books. They always give me exactly what I need, but the sentence structure in this series is killing me!! It shouldn’t be so hard to start off a sentence with “I”.. everytime I came to a sentence from Otto that said something like “wanted you all along”, but it didn’t say “I” first it drove me nuts and pulled me right back out of the story and it happened every time he spoke. Idk why this grates on my nerves so bad but it did. Rivers book was the same way! Had it not been for that it would have been 5⭐️! I absolutely LOVE Otto and Raven together! I LOVED how she was so outspoken in her feelings and she was the one to lay down the ultimatum of tell me the truth about how you feel or I’m done! Love that for her! She was a breath of fresh air! Otto was an absolute golden retriever for her! He was a pile of mush anytime she was near and we love a good obsessed moment! I did find the ending quite predictable, but that didn’t make me enjoy this any less!!

How did I miss book #1 of this series? I really wished I had the first book in this series before reading this one. This book opens with the group of guys talking and I’m already feeling left out. However, this book is about Raven who is River’s little sister and she owns a flower shop. Rivers’s best friend Otto has become like a surrogate older brother, always watching out for her. However, Otto has some real deep feelings for Raven but of course he would never act on them because of River. And because he has some dark things in his past and he feels as if he destroys those he loves or cares for. This was so angsty. But, Raven is ready for change. She wants to really live her life. She wants to be with Otto because she has feelings for him too. Brother’s best friend is always such a great trope because we get the longing and desire from afar as well as the fear that someone will discover that we crossed a line. Loved this book. It was so good. I’m planning to read book #1 and I don’t think you will be lost without reading it. But I would really like to know River’s story.

Under an Endless Moon by A.L. Jackson is book two in the Moonlit Ridge series. If you like secret society, small town, band of brothers, age gap, forbidden, touch her and die, brothers best friend romances then you will love this book.

Jackson did such an amazing job with Otto and Raven’s story. The banter, tension, spice, and attraction was jumping off of the pages. The plot and storyline were written so well. The characters were amazing!! These two went through so much and it was an emotional read for sure.  Otto and Raven’s fought their feeling so hard in the beginning, which IMO made their relationship as strong as it was in the end. I loved that we got to see how their relationship came to be…jumping from the past to the present. I cannot recommend this book enough. I’m going to have to add Jackson to my favorite authors list with my first read From Here to Eternity and now Under an Endless Moon you will not be disappointed. I am so ready for At the Edge of Surrender in September which can’t get her fast enough. Go read and listen to these books like I did you will NOT be disappointed. Thank you to Valentine P.R. and A.L. Jackson for letting me read and listen to this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

I am a big fan of the Author. This book however missed the mark with me. It will still continue to read the series as it comes out. this story seemed to be average and not as original as some of the other stories I have read by her. The characters were not as lovable as the others and I did not find myself rooting for them. The main female character actually annoyed me.
