Uscito dopo half-blood ma prequel di quest'ultimo. Consiglio di non seguire l'ordine editoriale ma di leggere prima Daimon poichè praticamente finisce là dove half-bood inizia. :)

i would give this 3.5 stars. it wasn’t the best but not the worst. it is the start of the whole series so it’s not like amazing but i did read it very fast and it held my attention.

The first half is cliché-galore. Something quite interesting happens in the middle. It ends with a cliffhanger, which serves the purpose of being a prequel to the actual first novel of the series. I might read the first one in the future just to satiate my curiosity about what will happen.

Daimon (Covenant, #0.5) is a prequel to Half Blood. This gives you an insight and what to expect coming into Half Blood.

Quote:
"I don't know why she was so frightened; I was the one facing the crypt keeper. And if I survived this poor excuse for tradition without ending up carrying this hag's bedpan for the rest of my life, it would be a miracle worthy of the gods that supposedly were watching over all of us."

Alexandria(Alex)is a half blood. Three years ago her mother took her away from the Covenant, where she was training to kill Daimons; evil aether stealing creepers.

Something really bad happens and now Alex is running for her life. After a few days sulking inside a run-down hotel outside of Miami, Alex decided she would go back to the Covenant. On the trip there, the horrible Daimons show up and alter her destination.

This was a great introduction into Half Blood. The action was enough to entice the reader to jump on the Half Blood band wagon.

I look forward to more from this author and now onto Half Blood...

I picked it up on impulse because it was on my phone for a long time, so I thought why not finally read it. I didn't fall in love with it right away, but it made me curious about the rest of the series. And I'm excited what is happening to Alex after this. :)
