The world building is great. Akenna is a great main character, and I’m glad we actually have women leading with violence. It’s a breath of fresh air for protagonists.
The ending was a little too quick in terms of the final fight. And things god wrapped up pretty quick despite a larger systemic structure being the root cause of a lot of problems.

I loved this duology. The second book at a lot in it though like a lot, a lot. I feel like it could have been split up and then also the story like for each drawn out more but over all this was such a great read. The ending was great. Will there be a 3rd book? I know it says duology but how do you end it like that in the epilogue and not have a third book coming out right.
Well I loved this, I’ve told anyone who will listen to me how awesome this was. Do yourself the favor and read it. It’s amazing
