it's a short read but so incredibly effective and unsettling. the slow descent into possession isn't filled with cheap jump scares, it's a chilling, psychological unraveling that feels terrifyingly real.
the writing is sharp and compulsive. read it basically in one go because i couldn't look away. it's subtle, deeply atmospheric, and all the more frightening because of how believable her experience feels. loved how as the demon took more control and she lost herself, the chapters got smaller. such a cool detail.
not a full 5 only because i wanted more by the end, but maybe that's part of its genius. seriously creepy and so well done.
