True to the title, this is less of a new story, and more of missing scenes from Snyder's Nu 52 run to bridge that era to Rebirth. I enjoyed all the short stories in this collection, particularly the art.

The earthshattering finale was in volume nine, but this was a cool sorbet to follow it up.

I finished this some time ago but I kinda forgot I didn't write down some thoughts on it. This is not really one continuos story, more like separate issues tied together in one volume as a sort of, well, epilogue.

Honestly, what feelings I had for the end of Scott Snyder's Batman run, I've already said them in the previous volumes' review. Suffice to say that, although Snyder didn't exactly end Batman on a high note, there is no doubt that he had some of the best volumes in the Batman canon that came out in the last couple of years.

I'll have to check out his new All Star Batman run next because I feel like there are still some lose ends from this Batman run that he could revisit and I would be excited about. I'm looking at you Thomas Wayne Jr.
