"Sicko" by Stephen Volk

Alfred Hitchcock with a twist. I was expecting the ending would have the lady unknowingly drive back to the motel in her rush to leave town so her fate would catch up with her at the hands of Norman. Instead her character is much stronger than we realize but we should have known because she did return the money.
This story was the weakest story of the bunch.

"You Are My Sunshine" by Keith Rosson hits too close to home right now with Covid-19 wreaking havok. This one involves a metal band so horns up for this one.

"Cleaver, Meat and Block" by Maria Haskins
hits closer to home right now with Covid-19 wreaking havok. The main character surprises you with what she is capable of doing.

"We Didn't Always Live in the Woods"
Play Type O Negative "Green Man" as background music

"Hearts of All" was a harder one to get into but once it got rolling the apocalyptic story started by accident was engrossing. It ended too soon though. I wanted to see what happened to the characters as they continued there journey. The author quotes from "Childe Roland" so it does have a Stephen King "Dark Tower" vibe
