Bloody great- a neurosurgeon basically talks about how the female brain ages differently to the male brain- the health implications of this and how to optimise your brain function- I’m going to keep this and reference it forever so I can outsmart and outlive you all!
slow-paced

This book provides a high level summary of basic information (mostly common sense) without properly referencing sources or distinguishing between study strength (e.g. correlation vs. causation, sample size, statistical significance). It lacks the rigor of scientific research, makes several questionable and unsupported claims (e.g. about supplements, organic products), and does not appear to be peer reviewed. It lacks detail (e.g. what is a good quantity?) and is very repetitive (referring to other sections in the book and the author's other books) without conveying substance, so you end up with very little actual content that could easily be found on the internet, but that takes 10x as long to read (e.g. filled with exclamation marks, colloquialisms, and personal comments that feel like a blog post about a popsci article).

It is important to note the author is a researcher and not a medical doctor, but makes several statements as if she is an MD or nutritionist, which is misleading.
