2.5⭐ for me. I really wanted to love this book and attempted twice to read it over several months period. I made it over halfway this time before I gave up again. I love Elise's other books so much so was disappointed when this one didn't seem to meet the standards of her other books. I struggled with all the filler sections, lack of character development and I just felt no attachment to the characters at all. The general premise of the story was interesting which is why I gave it 2.5 stars, it just sadly didn't hit the mark for me.

I definitely enjoyed this last book more than the previous one : the universe and magic system was really interesting. The romance developed differently than what I expect but not in a bad way. Overall a great book.

Little Red Riding Hood vibes with werewolves and witches. I sat on this one for a while, worried I wouldn't like it, but in the end finished it in days. I thought maybe a deus ex machina might fix some issues that the protagonists were facing towards the end but Kova went for a more realistic solution.
It’s a second chance fated mates romance so not my favourite but we decent. Although the author says these can be read in any order if you were to read A Duet With The Siren Duke after this, a major plot point would be spoiled
