I liked this book a lot more than the previous one or two. The main character felt like something out of a Ghibli movie with all of her spirit friends. The romance had a couple of plot twists that I really enjoyed. But I felt like the villain’s actions (or inactions) didn’t really make sense, so while he was super gross he also felt like less of a threat due to his ineptness.

It's surreal to know that this is the last Married to Magic book after following the series since the beginning. Elise Kova does well to make each romantic pairing and their stories unique and engaging.
This was a pleasant read, not super exciting (it had quite a simple and predictable plot), but enjoyable nonetheless! I liked that the happily ever after wasn't actually Evander and Faelyn staying king and queen, though I would have liked to know more about how the wolves got on after their king abandoned his role.
I'll be keen to check out Elise Kova's new series next year 🙂
