I really loved the vibes in this one. The spirit magic our main character can connect with was really interesting, but I also loved how the dynamic with the wolf packs worked. This might be one of my favourites in the series now. The pacing and worldbuilding were good, and I enjoyed the characters a lot. Honestly just had a really good time reading this and it had my attention throughout.
Very quick read. I’d say this broached more intense themes than some of the others. The vibes were little red riding hood
I appreciate aurora being the one to kill conri in the end - it felt earned. I also liked that she was able to set aurora free rather than keep her power, since it wouldn’t have felt right otherwise. I do question her inability to recognize Evander/Liam and I thought she said she was unsure if her mom had died but then later mentions seeing her remains, so it did feel a bit inconsistent in places

The pacing was too slow, the twist was predictable, and the romantic relationship wasn't....enough? Also should have been edited down at least 100 pages.

I got the signed edition from the author with my name!!! I absolutely love it! The cover and book all by itself are beautiful! I am a huge fan of the whole series!
This is a take on Little Red Riding Hood and this was an exciting twist on the story. This story it's self I loved and it was a quick read. I also think it was a bit more spicey than the others. I however didn't like the last few chapters that seemed to undo their ending.
While each of these books in the series were standalone stories they did tie into each through the same world and magic system. Each of the other books had bonus chapters that often had the ending couples meeting up for some grander purpose given that this was the last book I hoped to see that and was disappointed it didn't connect.
