This book just didn’t hold my attention.  The main character kept flashing back to her past which was confusing and takes you out of the story.

I AM IN SHAMBLES HOW DARE SHE WRITE THIS DEVASTATING BOOK. HOW IS THIS HER DEBUT NOVEL. i thought this was gonna be a fun little book where the dancer and the king fall in love but NO here i am crying in the club. best fantasy novel i’ve read in a while and it is a PRISON.
