DNF at 60%
What a huge waste of time. It started off really strong, great introduction, instantly sucks you in, and sets the mood just right. I was having a great time until the Thailand trip, where Jake had his evil character speech and announce the world his plan and motives. Everything just doesn't quite add up, I understand but I don't. Then comes the agonizing part where we suffer with Grace, and instead of feeling for her, I just want to throw a brick at her. The inconsistencies of her personality makes me so irritated, and goddamn, you have tried the same method for 6 chapters and can't you just think? There is no logic, the author throws out the most unhinged sentence ever, and I want to kill everyone. Thank God I spoiled myself, because the ending is such a let down. Would not reread and would not recommend.

I could not put this back down, VENGEANCE. Holy fuck, it kept me on my toes the entire time. Esther is goated. Oh my god, i’m gonna think about this book for so long. It really had me anxious the whole time i was reading it
