I liked the story. It was a good continuation of the percy jackson storyline! But while reading it I was totally not in the mood to read middle grade fiction. A lot of the suspense and conflicts seemed juvenile. I probably will continue the series, but only when I am in the mood for middle grade fiction.

A strong continuation of the Percy Jackson franchise. It spends a little too long not playing its cards on the table and the reveals were not enough to justify the delay, but the characters are really compelling and Riordan is still one of the best writers when it come to applying ancient myth to the modern world for younger audiences.

Took me about 4 tries to actually read the book once I found out Percy wasn’t in it but once I did I do have the say I really enjoyed the new characters. Despite what everyone initially said, I adore Jason and he is a good protagonist.

rereading the entire series and i am confident in my statement they're great they're awesome live laugh percy jackson or in this case the heroes of olympus.
listen jason is kinda annoying but he just got his memories erased so like valid ig also piper seems kind of made up to defy the aphrodite stereotypes and that's kinda icky sometimes but she's still so real like honestly iconic AND LEO VALDEZ THE LOML AN ICON A LEGEND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE OH THE APPLE OF MY EYE !!!!!
the cyclops scene is so iconic i love him so bad (real). annabeth i feel so bad for her ohh she's so :( i love her so bad and she does not deserve the pain that she gets like give her some rest fr fr.
anyway genuinely people hating on the percy pov switch but i love the new pov switch bc seeing the same situations from multiple viewpoints was so real !
