Jammer! Raven's story totally broke my heart while I was reading... It's so sad! But I love her determination and bravery, even when she's being treated like an animal. This novella was so good and it was great seeing everything from Raven's perspective. I especially loved the scene after the auction, before being shipped off to the House of the Stone! My only problem with this story was that it was too short! I want more of Raven!

I thought it would be about all the surrogates living at the House of the Stone and how all of them went insane and died but it's really just Raven's first week there and showing the device making her insane. I guess I had higher expectations on this one.

This ebook novella gives the readers an insight into what happened to Raven in the House of Stone. Let's just say it's sadistic the way they torture her. Luckily, the author doesn't go into too much detail, but what she does offer is disturbing. I would recommend this only as an insight to Raven's character.

This was such an awesome book. Even better than Garnet's Story, as it gives us an insight into how Raven's treated in the House of the Stone. It was such a horrible book! Really rather gory and horrifying. I was kind of disappointed that it finished when
Spoilershe left Violet after Dahlia's death, and that we didn't get to see up to her miscarriage,
but I'm definitely super excited for the second book :D I love how defiant Raven is, and how she definitely sticks to who she is and tries not to let them change her.

I expected more than I got from this. I love Raven, and I was excited to have a chance to look inside her world. I wish that there was more; I wanted to learn about the things that the Countess did in her head. I wanted to read about her and Violet sending those messages to each other, and about Emile.

I did enjoy reading more about Raven's strength and how she refuses to let anyone break her.

God where do I even start?
Okay so basically, if you have read The Jewel you definetly should give this book a chance to see how much Raven is going trough. I honestly respect her so much. Imagine being locked up in a freaking CAGE. With a woman nearby who loves hurting people in the worst ways possible.
The story was build up in a nice way, eventhough it only consists of 91 pages it still fellt like it was sort off complete in a way only short books can be.
Still, this book left me behind with some questions in my mind. I mean, why is that woman so freaking mean and evil? Why did Raven lose her mind in The Jewel? How about Emile?
