It gave an insight into Palestine, not seen in the media or on Google (for obvious reasons). It was woven around generations of the same family which made it extremely emotional - to get embedded and invested into the characters lives and feel their loss and heartache. Beautiful written. A story that will never leave my head or heart but knowing that it’s still going on today… no words 😞
