Una bona lectura, però que per mi ha tingut defectes significatius. Tinguem en compte que desde el segon llibre vam entrar en una mena de farcit de la trama que s’ha allargat un bon tros dins d’aquesta última part. Això, juntament amb alguns esdeveniments que no comentaré per no fer spoilers, han fet que el llibre se’m faci poc adequat. Per dir alguna cosa. Igualment recomano la trilogia, però remarcant que el primer llibre és el millor amb diferència.
Honestly, kind of disappointed in this book. I was super excited for this one because I really enjoyed books 1 and 2. However, this one felt so rushed and there was just too much going on that I couldn't keep track of. I ended up losing interest and towards the end was simply passively listening to the audiobook. I did enjoy the beginning of the book because I thought there was a good balance between humour/dark elements but I felt that towards the end it was just too heavy and kind of out of style. Like the other books, I somewhat enjoyed the breaking of the fourth wall, but in the middle of the book, it happened so many times within such a short span of time that I kind of got sick of it. Overall, disappointing ending but overall a solid series. Might do a reread in future years.

I wish she ended the book with Tric. Ash was selfish and utterly despicable. She was mean throughout the books.
The read a lot more like Nevernight fan fiction, as the plot was 1000% more fantastical than the previous books. While it was enjoyable, I found it hard to get through and it put me into one of the worst reading slumps I’ve ever experienced. It usually takes me 3-7 days to read a book, depending on how busy I am. This took me 6 months!
However, the characterisation was exceptional and consistent, the atmosphere was perfectly captured, and the writing was descriptive and thorough. It just seemed a bit much to go from “Mia trains to be an assassin” to “Mia trains as a gladiator” all the way to “Mia has special powers and has to save the world from evil god”…

This book was amazing from start to end, Im completely in love with this.
Man, this is such a wicked good series. So not my usual style but the writing is fantastic!! All my favorite characters die, except Ash (beotch, hate you, lol).

Very full on from the start and action all the way through, told with a wry and dark sense of humour. Enjoyed the trilogy - glad some characters at least, made it to the end!
