I love this series so much, Mia is a great character and the writing style is sublime. It is very bloody and glory, the amount of characters die is wild. Sometimes it was a bit slow but I still read it really fast because it was very enjoyable. I am very close to start all over again and try to see all the little nods to the end.

4/5 Stars
By far my least favorite of the series, but I still sobbed when it was over, and I did love it!

I was actually thinking I would give this book 5 stars like Godsgrave, but the last 100 pages threw me off. The ending was anticlimatic in my opinion, and far too convenient.
Yeah, anyway, I didn't like the ending.
Also, I have to recognize that the three main characters didn't left me anything... I didn't root for them, I actually didn't care about what happened to them... I only cared about the minor characters. This didn't influence my reading experience, though, because I still enjoyed reading about Mia being all badass and assholery anyway, but I didn't feel a true connection with her.
Oh well, that's not the first time this happened to me, and I have to say that Darkdawn was all in all a great conclusion anyway.
Spoiler
If someone dies, it should stay dead, period. Unless you're Jesus XD otherwise, where's the fun/the shock if someone can come back to life? I already knew that neither Ashlinn nor Mia were going to stay dead...that was quite a disappointment and took away the surprise and disbelief I felt when Ash killed Tric in Nevernight.Yeah, anyway, I didn't like the ending.

Incredible finale to an incredibly told trilogy. My first Kristoff books and definitely not my last.

A worthy ending to a compelling chronicle. Other reviewers - the mentions of "the politics were silly, but the smut was top notch" - what books did you think of? For me, it was the Kushiel saga.
